    Hi,

    I am getting error from last two days continuously when i try to start Outlook. It keeps me showing error Can’t Open Outlook. Can not start Microsoft Outlook. Can anybody help me to recover from this problem?

    To recover from this issue first check whether outlook isn’t running in compatibility mode. You can check for this by going to the properties of Outlook Application. If it is checked to run in compatibility mode then uncheck that and start outlook.

    I could not find any properties of Outlook Application. Can you please elaborate about this?

    Hi, Lincon Just follow these steps.
    1. Open Start Menu and search for Outlook and then right click on outlook and select “Open File Location”. You can see this in following image.
    Open Outlook File Location
    2. Now select Outlook an right click again and select “Properties”.

    3. Then you will see the following window as shown in following image. Here click on “Compatibility” tab and “Uncheck” the check box Run this program in compatibility mode.

    Hiiiii,
    I am facing same problem but this solution didn’t work for me.
    When i double click on Outlook then it’s window open for 2 seconds and then closes automatically.

    I don’t know what should i do?

    Hello Kerry,
    You can try this ..
    go to run by tying run in search box of start menu.
    then type Outlook.exe /resetnavpane in run window and hit Enter.
    Now check for can not start Outlook error.
