    I would like to convert my 18GB OST files to PST due to some data corruption. So far I have tried some troubleshooting steps but it didn’t work well. Can anybody help me to convert OST to PST?

    Hi, Mariya I would like to know which troubleshooting steps have you already opted because I already know certain manual procedure which works well. Also, I can understand how severe is your case and also I could help you out to migrate Outlook OST to Outlook PST file.

    The troubleshooting process which I have already used is:

    1] Backup .ost file
    2] Rename Outlook .ost to Outlook .pst
    3] Rename PST back to OST

    I must say that if you are moving to opt a manual procedure then you should do as careful as possible. It is because if the flow didn’t come with the manual method (i.e if you skipped anyone of the steps the result won’t be satisfiable). Therefore, you must be very careful while approaching any manual solution to convert OST to PST.

    Hi, Mariya if you wished to use manual approach then it is better to opt Outlook’s inbuilt tool i.e Import/ Export wizard. Which really helps you convert Outlook OST to PST file format.

    The procedure is:

    Run the Outlook application >> File tab >> Import and Export Wizard >> then, Export to a File >> (Select PST) Next icon >> Select the Destination Location >> Finish

    Hi, Lincoln I really appreciate your effort, but I must say that I am a non-technical person and this above manual solution is really hard to do. Is there any other option which will really help me to convert OST to PST with less effort.

    Sure there are, but I would like to know whether you wished to see the best approachable method by using a third-party tool. I really prefer you to opt this method because it will provide 100% result while transfer Outlook OST to PST file.
