A 40 page contract PDF got damaged during a cloud sync. Acrobat says the file is damaged and could not be repaired. Some pages show blank when I force it open in a browser. Is the content gone?
Can I recover a corrupt PDF file that will not open?

The file size still shows 2.1MB so I assume the data is in there somewhere.
Good sign. A damaged header or cross reference table makes readers give up even when page content is intact.
Try SysTools PDF Recovery. It rebuilds the file structure and pulls out readable pages, images and form data. Blank pages in a browser usually mean broken object offsets, which a rebuild fixes.
If a page was mid-transfer when the sync broke, that page may come back partial. The rest recovers fine in most cases.
38 of 40 pages came back perfect. The 2 damaged ones were boilerplate anyway. Thank you Edwin.
