    I have some PDF files which are encrypted with passwords. These files have some crucial official data and saved in my official system, so I secured these files with password by using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Now I have assigned work by my boss to edit some data in that files, and unfortunately I forgot the password. I am trying since morning to unlock that files, but no method is working well. Can anyone tell me the solution to unlock that files?

    The same tool Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is used to decrypt security from PDF Documents. It is a easy process to remove security from locked PDF in just few steps. Haven’t you tried?

    Yes, I have tried it, but it doesn’t work because it needs first to enter the permission password in order to remove restrictions from PDF files. I am still facing the same issue and unable to work over those files. Can you please tell me any other solution??

    As I can see that you have tried Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, but it not working because you don’t have a permission password. Then, in case I am suggesting a manual method by using a chrome browser.
    Follow these simple steps to remove restrictions manually:
    1. Firstly, open the restricted PDF file in google chrome.
    2. Then, select the printing option and save a copy of the PDF file in your system.
    3. Now, the file saved as the copy is free from all restrictions.
    Now you can edit your content, as required.

    Manual method to remove restriction from locked PDF by using Google Chrome is working well. But it having some limitations like it needs allow printing ability to complete the task. If the printing is also restricted, then this method is also disabled to give unrestricted file.
    If you file is not restricted to print, then you can go for it!!

    Yes, you are right. I have recently tried this method and unfortunately, it is not helped me out. My files are locked with all restrictions like, editing, copying, printing, commenting, etc. Now please suggest me any other effective solution which can be able to help me out of this situation.

    Hello Friend !!
    Before some days, I was also facing a problem like this and tried many manual methods but they didn’t work. Manual methods usually come with some restrictions, when they didn’t work for me then, I tried third party software. I personally recommend you to use SysTools PDF unlocker, which is very helpful and simple to use.

    Yes, I have also tried this software to remove Adhaar Card PDF restrictions. It does not need any permission password to remove restrictions from PDF file unlike other Software and easily available at affordable price. Software also provide its demo version for free, if you have any doubt you can go for its demo version first.
