Need to hand 300 contacts to a colleague whose CRM only imports vCard. Outlook 2013 saves vCards one contact at a time through Save As.

Clicking through 300 contacts is not happening. Any way to export them all as vcf in one go?

Outlook has no bulk vCard export button but there is a built in trick that gets you all 300 in two minutes: forward them to yourself as business cards.

1
Open the Contacts view and select all 300 with Ctrl+A, or Ctrl+click a subset.
2
Right click the selection and choose Forward Contact, As a Business Card. Outlook creates one email with 300 .vcf attachments.
3
Do not send it. In the draft, click one attachment, press Ctrl+A to select them all, right click and choose Save All Attachments, then pick a folder.
4
Discard the draft. The folder now holds one vcf per contact for the CRM import.

If the CRM wants one combined vcf instead of 300 individual files, concatenate them: open Command Prompt in that folder and run copy *.vcf combined.vcf. vCard files are plain text so joining them this way produces a valid multi contact file most systems accept.

All 300 saved out of the draft and combined into one file with the copy command. CRM took it first try. Great trick.
