From today morning, my Outlook is showing a strange error message on the screen and therefore I am not able to send emails.

Error: Sending' reported errors: (0x800CCC78): 'Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first.'

Help me to fix this pitfall.

Since wrong input of port numbers are always find as main cause behind the send/receive error in Outlook, I recommend you to re-check the server details which you have used to configure Outlook account. nnAlso, tell me what email service you are using in Microsoft Outlook? nnThanksnBarryn n

How can I make these change in Outlook. Will you please elaborate you answer?

Sure, let’s try these steps to make changes: nnOpen “MS Outlook” >> Click on “File” Tab >> “Account Settings” >> “Account Settings” >> Click on “Change” >> “More Settings” >> Move on “Outgoing Server” Tab >> Ensure the Option “My outgoing server (SMTP) require authentication” must be checked. nnI got an informative article on the error 0x800ccc78. To get more info, see here: http://error. pstrecovery. net/outlook-error-0x800ccc78. htmlnnI hope the information will be helpful in resolving your issue. Let me know if you need further assistance! nnBest Regardsn

Thank you so much Barry for sharing the information with me. I have also read the article which was quite nice. Now, I have resolved my issue. nnThank you again.:-)
