I am having around 14 GB of data inside my Official Google Drive account. Since the maximum free storage of Google Drive is 15 GB, I am planning to transfer all the data into another account for backup. Is there any easy way to move all my data to the other account without causing any data loss?

    Hi Eddie,

To migrate Google Drive data to another account, you can use the following steps:

    1. Sign in with the source Gmail address.
    2. Open Google Drive and select the files which are to be migrated to the destination account.
    3. Right click and Choose Download option to move the documents to local folder.
    4. Sign in with Destination Google Drive account.
    5. Click on New » File / Folder Upload » Choose the files from local folder.

    Thanks

Thank You. I am quiet sure that this is the easiest way to move files and folders between Google Drives. But, as I mentioned above I am having 14 GB of data and downloading that much large data from cloud to local in a short time is not feasible for me. Is there any other way to move data from G Drive.

You can create an archive of your Google Drive data with Google Takeout to transfer Google Drive storage to another account.

I tried to archive the Google Drive files with Google TakeOut. But now the file formats of the G Drive contents have changed by which the folder structure got messed up and this is drastic for me since it is my official account.

Hi, If you want to move files from Google Drive to another account without the above mentioned issues, it will be advisable for you to use any third party tools.

If you want to migrate Google Drive files to another account at once, then you can try SysTools Google Drive Migrator which allows you to transfer even the deleted and shared files from one account to another without any issue. By using this software, you can easily copy files from Google Drive to Google Drive.
