    Hi Experts,

My Outlook PST File has been deleted permanently and unable to restore it. I have very important emails and other details in that Outlook Data File. I ran Scanpst.exe and other tools but did not get any solution. So, is here anyone who has real experience with any PST Recovery Tool?

Can you please clarify your query.

Have you deleted your Outlook data PST file from the Hard disk.

If, yes then SCANPST will not help you. SCANPST is intended to help you repair corrupt pst files, but it does not allow you to recover permanently deleted pst files from PC.

For your case you need to look for a good data recovery software which will allow you to salvage your Outlook.pst file from your hard drive.

I am waiting for your response, so that I can guide you further on this.

As you have deleted your Outlook.pst file. So you need to use a data recovery software to salvage your files from your disk. Try using a reliable data recovery product which can carve required deleted pst files from your hard drive.

I can recommend you “SysTools” product for data recovery.

As you recommended me a “SysTools” product for data recovery when I visited SysTools website, I found Hard Drive Data Recovery software. I installed and ran its demo version. The software previewed my deleted Outlook .pst File along with other data but I was unable to save the data because of demo limitation. So, I decided to purchase this tool. After buying, I ran this software. It really worked awesome and my permanently deleted Outlook PST File has been recovered. Thank you so much.

But, now another issue has been occurred, my Outlook.pst file is not opening. So, will you please suggest me any solution to overcome with this error?

    Hi Barry,

Make sure that Read only attribute should not be selected in your Outlook Data file.

To check, follow this path to find the location of PST file: C:\Users\admin\Documents\Outlook Files

Now, click right on PST file >> click on “Properties” >> Under General tab, check “Read-only” attribute shouldn’t be selected.

    read only attribute

Might be your Outlook data file could be corrupted that’s why this issue is appearing. So, please try to run Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe) to repair PST file.

Let me know if you need further assistance!!!

    Thanks & Regards
