Google Takeout handed me my Gmail archive as one giant MBOX file. Windows has no idea what to do with it. I do not run Thunderbird. How do I read this thing?

MBOX is just a plain text mail spool but at Takeout sizes you want a proper reader. SysTools MBOX Viewer opens the file directly on Windows, shows every message with attachments and has search built in. No Thunderbird required.
If some messages show as No valid MBOX errors, the export was truncated. Re-download the Takeout archive, that fixes it nine times out of ten.
Opened my 11GB Takeout file fine. Search works. Solved.
