I am working in a company and i take laptop with me to office and i am having a PC at home. I access emails using Outlook though Exchange Server. But i am getting synchronization problem of Emails between laptop and PC. When i access emails at office then all emails get stored into OST file but when i access same emails in PC at home then all my emails get downloaded from server to PST file and then i see that all my emails from laptop have gone.

In this case i am unable to access my emails again in laptop.

So, can anybody tell me that how can i sync laptop and desktop to access my emails on both devices.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Hii Lincon,

PST file can’t Sync with OST because PST stores all data locally, but OST need always active internet connection to sync with Exchange server. Whatever changes are done in Outlook OST it gets updated at exchange server too. But in case of PST all data is downloaded into local computer.
But then ever you can do one thing to access all your old PST emails in laptop, you can copy pst file into laptop and open it in Outlook by going into file menu.
And in PC you need to add an account into Outlook by going into file menu and then click on Add Account and then select Manual setup to connect outlook with Exchange Server.

I have copied PST file into folder but i don’t know where should i paste it. Is there any specific folder in which i should paste it.
It is little bit confusing, can you please describe it in more simple way?

No, there is not any specific folder in which you need to paste PST file to access. You can paste it where you want. You can easily import PST file into Outlook to access emails from PST file.
