Hi Henry,
Did the problem still persist?
Follow the above steps as suggested by Kerry and if the problem still persist then first you must know the cause of this error. There may be one of the following cause of this error:
1.) Wrong selection of text format.
2.) If no browser is set as default in your computer.
3.) If you receive this error after you’ve uninstalled Firefox/Chrome.
4.) If you’ve not set the “in-built browser with your computer” as default before uninstalling any third web browser other than the browser configured with your computer (mostly IE).
5.) If registry key is corrupted.
6.) Windows DLL files.
From 1.) To 5.) The solution is to follow the above mentioned steps and if the error is due to Windows DLL files then do the following steps:
Step 1: First know how many types of DLL files are there in your Windows. Following are the list of Windows DLL files that are available in Windows:
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll (Some system use Shdoc401.dll instead)
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
Step 2: Close all the programs, click Start and type Run in the search box.
Step 3: In the Run command box, type regsvr32 followed by a space and the file name (say regsvr32 shdocvw.dll) and click OK to save the settings.
Note: If the problem still exist after follow the above steps then try to “restore your system”. Follow all the steps carefully, you’ll be able to see the hyperlinks in Outlook.
Thanks & Regards
