    Hi everyone,

I am using MS Outlook since last 2 years and I’ve never faced such issue with my Outlook in these years but yesterday when I was trying to move some Outlook items from one folder to another folder, Outlook suddenly shows an error message that says: Cannot move items. The item cannot be moved. It was either already moved or deleted, or access was denied.till then I’m trying to find out the reason behind this error message but not getting the proper solution. Now I’m thinking what to do.

Is there anyone who have faced the same issue?

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

This error may occur in Outlook in the following situation:
When you move large PST data into public folders.
    When opening emails in Archive.
If the archive folders are accessed from a different location.

Solution: To fix this error, you need to use the Current Folder option. To do that, use the below steps:

Start your Outlook >> click on File
click on Option >> click on Search
Navigate to Results and select the Current Folder option
    Click on OK.

For reference, see the screen shot: Screen shot to set Current Folder Option in Outlook

    Thanks Eddie,

Did tried the above method but the problem still continues but thanks for the instruction you gave, they are very informative, especially the cause you’ve mentioned. I was wondering, what may be possible the cause behind this.
Anyways, please tell me if there is any other solution apart from the solution mentioned above? would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Michael
