Unable to send Gmail emails from the Outlook

    Hi All,

    I had configured Gmail in MS Outlook yesterday and today I figured out that somehow my emails are not getting delivered and they stay in the Outbox. As a result of this, I kept hitting ‘Send/Receive’ button all the time but still no go.
    I can receive my emails from others but cannot send any email.
    Seems like I am facing this issue because my Gmail account is having some issues. Please help!

    Hello,

    -Please go to tools -> accounts.
    -Then go to properties. Check for the following:
    Incoming mail POP3 > pop.gmail.com
    Outgoing mail SMTP> smtp.gmail.com
    Check for the valid port numbers too.

    I hope this solves your problem.

    Hi Barry,
    Thanks for your reply.

    I checked the settings and found out that Outgoing mail SMTP field was mentioned incorrectly.
    I have changed it to smtp.gmail.com.

    Could you please share the port numbers too.
