Adobe Acrobat Reader DC can’t open pdf

Adobe reader DC is not able to open a particular pdf document that is an attachment on an email.
I have been able to open the same document on my Ipad which also has Adobe reader installed on it.
The error is as following:
I have updated to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and made sure it was up to date with the latest patches, I rebooted the pc and tried again, same error.
I scanned the email and the document with Antivirus and it is clean.Hello Barry
Had you try open the same file (which is not opening, downloaded in your system) on other system. try to open the same file in other pdf reader. like foxit reader, Microsoft edge etc.
If it doesn’t work then remove adobe acrobat reader and use adobe cleanup tool, for clean uninstallation and
install it again and check the same.
