You can resolve this issue by aha=gain registering EML file in My computer or run Msimn which pressurise the Outlook to register the file again.
To execute Msimn file with the /reg option:
Firstly exit Outlook Express.
From Start menu choose Run and type msimn /reg, and then Select OK.In order to Register EML file type in My Computer:
Select My Computer > From Tools menu, choose Folder Options.
Under File Types tab > Registered file types, select EML Outlook Express Mail Message, and choose Advanced.
Choose Open, and then click Edit.
Type the following single line in the Application used to perform action box:
“C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE” /eml:%1You can use any third party tool to view Attachments of Outlook Express like SysTools EML Viewer
