To be frank, your question seems mind-boggling and I have a suspicion that this all is happening because of some sort of corruption or bug which is impeding you to access your Outlook Data File. If there is something like that, you are going to run into a big trouble.
I guess Micheal’s perception is correct about corruption and all that. Something horrible going on with your PST file or it’s elements has been deteriorated somehow. You should repair it expeditiously. Run scanpst or AKA Inbox Repair Tool.
Once you are done with it, please let me know whether you get the results or not.
