    Not sure, what happened, when I was searching for a PST file in the morning. I found it was missing and an error occurs “error has been detected in the file<path to pst file>. I tried solving it using the inbuilt repair tool but then it shows the file is not an Outlook Data File. Lastly when trying to open Outlook it says cannot open Outlook. Don’t know what to do? How to locate missing PST files and open Outlook. If you know how to resolve this, then suggest me the best solution to search missing Outlook PST files

    Missing Outlook PST files can be found easily with the help of inbuilt repair tool but if you are unable to do so then do check the Outlook Version you are using. Or update your Outlook to its latest version. This could be a reason why the inbuilt tool is not working.

    I have already checked it. And I am running on the latest version only. But don’t know why the PST repair tool isn’t working.

    If you are using the latest version and your Inbuilt repair tool is not working then you should contact to your administrator and ask whether the auto disconnect feature is on or not. Or you can go with an alternate solution to locate missing Outlook PST files

    Lincoln this tool will only help you in case you want to search files on your system. But if you want to search missing Outlook files in network domain then you have to use the other alternate solution. Which is designed to find PST files in network. It can find any file from network.
