    Since last weekend I’m unable to view PSD file either in Photoshop or in Windows Image Explorer. I’ve tried certain work-around but that doesn’t work for me. I’m afraid of doing it manually in Photoshop. So I’m looking for a way by which I can view my PSD file in Windows Image Explorer.

    Hi Henry,

    If you are unable to open PSD file in Photoshop application, SO you cannot be able to view PSD file in Windows Image Explorer.

    Maybe your PSD file got corrupted.

    How can i check whether my PSD file is corrupted or not.

    If in case it’s corrupted, Are there any tools to open or view corrupted PSD files.

    Kindly Suggest!

    Hi, Henry!

    I think you should try this out

    First of all, check whether GIMP is successfully installed in your system or not. If no then Install it follow the steps

    a) Go to File > Open…
    b) Find and select the PSD file.
    c) Click Open.

    You can definitely follow the above mentioned steps

    OR

    You can use a free tool to open your PSD file!

    Such as: PSD File Viewer

    Your procedure also works successfully.

    But, Please tell me is there any manual method to convert PSD to PNG Image format?

    Hey Henry,

    PSD files can be viewed manually, But you cannot convert a PSD file to PNG by using a manual method.

    As Barry Allen suggested, I also recommend you can use the same tool to convert PSD to PNG.
