  7. In the end, select the folder to import from and check the box showing include subfolders. Select import items into the same folder and click Finish.

2. Master Archive File:

Steps:

  1. Create a new PST file which will be the Master archive.
    • For Outlook 2010 & 2013: Navigate through File → account settings Data files.
    • For Outlook 2007 & older versions: Navigate through File → New → Outlook data file
  2. Browse the location and enter the new name for master archive file.
  3. Go to File → Open → Outlook data file to connect old archive to Outlook.
  4. Copy the content to new Master archive file.
  5. After the copying process is completed, disconnect the original archive.
    • Outlook 2010 & 2013: File → Account settings → data file
    • Outlook 2003 & 2007: File → Data File Management
  6. Now save the new master file in a default archiving location.
    • Outlook 2010 & 2013: File → Option → advanced → AutoArchive settings
    • Outlook 2003 & 2007: Tools → Options → Other → AutoArchive Settings
