I can understand the pain in moving the data from Outlook to Office 365 and the risk of data loss. The method that you can refer is either the Drive or networking shipping.
Could you please explain the process. I am a newbie
Moreover, If you still don't understand you can use an Office365Import Tool to move Outlook data to Office 365 account.
