    I have some files with EML extension in my hard drive. Whenever I attempt to open EML files in Outlook. It displays an error message saying it cannot open in Microsoft Outlook.But I can open these file in my Browser. Can anyone suggest me any possible way to open my EML mails in Outlook.

    You can download the Microsoft Outlook 2007 post service pack to solve the above problem.

    Here is the manual method:
    start the Registry Editor
    Locate the subkey HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Microsoft Internet Mail Message/shell/open/command
    Right click to Modify
    Enter the following code:
    %ProgramFiles%/Microsoft Office/Office12/Outlook.exe /eml “%1”
    On the File menu, click Exit to quit Registry Editor

    What you can also do is follow below steps:

    Drag email from the .eml folder and drop them to Inbox wait for the process to get finished

    repeat the same to done with all the folders

    open Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010, file, and Import Files.
    Its the only easiest process to convert the .eml to .pst.

    You can try various EML to PST converter. This is one of them its trustable,I’m pretty sure that it will help you to move eml from hardrive to Outlook.
