When I open my MS Outlook account, I don’t know why but my Outlook is directly opens in safe mode. If anyone knows the reason behind this, please tell me. I am using MS Outlook 2010 edition.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
In MS Outlook this issue comes due to a new December update KB3114409. Just uninstall this add-in to fix the issue. I hope it will work for you.

    Hi Michael.

    Thanks for the reply,

I uninstalled KB3114409 but unfortunately, it didn’t solve the problem.

    Any other suggestion?

    Regards

    Hi Barry,

Another way is set registry key to disable Safe mode.

    To set the registry Key:

    • Press “Start” Key + “R” (Combine) >> Type “regedit” in the run dialog box >> click on “OK” button.
    • Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Security\
    • Right click on Security key and choose New, and then DWORD Value.
    • Type DisableSafeMode, and then press Enter.
    • Right-click on DisableSafeMode, and then click Modify.
    • In the Value data box, type 1, and then click “OK”.
    • Restart MS Outlook.
