I want to back up my iPhone 15 to my Windows 11 PC locally. I don't want to use iCloud. Storage is full and I'm not paying for more.

iTunes used to handle this but I read it's been replaced. What's the current way to do a full local backup to PC?

iTunes on Windows was replaced by the Apple Devices app, available from the Microsoft Store. It does everything iTunes did for iPhone backups.

1
Install Apple Devices from the Microsoft Store. It's free.
2
Connect your iPhone via USB. Tap Trust on your phone when prompted.
3
Open Apple Devices, click your iPhone, then go to Backups. Click Back Up Now.
4
The backup saves to C:\Users\[you]\Apple\MobileSync\Backup\ by default. You can move it once done.

If you want to view or extract specific data from a backup, SysTools iPhone Backup Extractor can read the backup files directly.

Worked perfectly. 6.4GB backup completed in about 8 minutes. Marking solved. Thanks Mariya.
