    My OST files are get damaged, it makes me very much confused. I don’t know how can I get back that files.  Are there any methods to recover my Microsoft Outlook 2016 OST file?

    Hi Mariya,
    I can understand your situation very well as I have been in similar situation. Are you searching for manual methods? You can fix the issue by renewing it. Please go through the following steps to manually recover corrupted OST file.

    Step 1: Go to Properties and click on the folder
    Step 2: Choose “Clear Offline Items” option then click “OK”
    Step 3: Click on “Update Folder”

    Hi Dexter,
    I have used the above manual method but I didn’t get back all the damaged Offline OST files. So can you please suggest any other easy and fast methods?

    Hi Mariya,
    You can use the scanpst.exe which is an inbuilt utility in Microsoft Outlook. Actually, it is very complex and takes time to complete the operation, But you can get the correct solution.

    Hello Mariya,
    The best method to recover the OST file is by using third-party tools. You can use SysTools OST Recovery software to repair corrupted OST file and it will convert that corrupted OST to PST file format. It have so many helpful features please try this utility.

    Thank You, I have recovered my corrupted OST files and converted them to PST file format. Now I am very happy and once again thank you so much for this help.
