    Hi Mariya,

You are unable to open DMG file because the DMG is not compatible with Windows OS. DMG is a disk image file created in Mac Os that saves the data of the drive. It is also an installer file that can be used to install any application on Mac OS. That’s why you cannot access your data.

Ok. I got it. Can you suggest any method to open and save data from DMG files?

There is no direct manual method. So, you can use a popular DMG Extractor Tool to open DMG file contents and also save in your system. You just have to download and install the tool. Add the DMG file and get all the data items saved in the desired location.

I have tried this tool but the size of my DMG file is above than 4 GB. Therefore, the tool is unable to open that file. Can you suggest any other tool?

You can use SysTools DMG Viewer Pro Tool to extract DMG file on Windows. There is no limit on the size of the file. You can easily open, view and save contents from DMG file on Windows OS platform.
