    Hi All,

Please help me recover my deleted emails which I deleted from trash yesterday.

I accidentally deleted important email of mine from my Inbox. And later I deleted all the emails from the trash.

Please help me ASAP. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Dexter,

You did not backup the emails before deleting them? It is always preferable to backup cloud data locally.

Let’s come to your issue now. Well, you are not late yet, the administrator in your organization can retrieve permanently deleted emails within 25 days of deletion.

You should contact the G Suite admin for the same.

I hope this works well for you.

    Thanks Barry

    Thanks for your reply Barry.
I have the credentials of the admin account of G Suite in my organization as the admin is on leave for a week. But how do I move further with this?

Please guide me with the troubleshooting.

    Hi Dexter,
Here are the steps you (the admin) should follow to restore a single user’s data:

    1. Login to your Google Admin console using the Administrator credentials.
    2. Go to Users from the Admin console’s dashboard.
    3. Find the user whose data you want to recover, select their name to view their account page.
    4. On the user’s account page, select More and then choose Restore data.
    5. Choose the time interval for the data you want to retrieve, from within the last 25 days. (This field should not be blank)
    6. Choose the location from where you want to restore your data: Drive or Gmail. (This field should not be blank)
    7. Select Restore Data.

    Thanks

Please be sure of the following things that you should keep in mind before starting the process!

-The admin cannot recover data after 25 days of deletion.
-Data can be recovered for upto 10 users at a time.
-It is mandatory to mention the date range and type of data (Google Drive data or Gmail data).

    Thanks

Thanks a lot for your help, Barry.
I will try these instructions and will also take backup of the data to avoid such blunders in future.

Could you please recommend any solution that helps to take backup of my G Suite data?

Yes, there are two ways to backup G Suite/ Google Apps data to your computer/ local drive.

You can download the data using Google Takeout which is a utility provided by Google or any Google Takeout Alternative tool.

PS: Third party tool (Google Takeout alternative) is preferred when you have data which is more than 2GB. For data less than 2 GB, you can use Google Takeout.

    Hi Eddie,

Yes I was able to restore permanently deleted emails from Google Apps account using the above troubleshooting.

    You can go for it!

    All the best!
