    Hi,

I have some existing Outlook messages in MSG format. I am unable to open those files. I want to access them and save them in PDF file format as a backup so that I can access them in future. But I don’t know how to convert multiple MSG files to PDF file format? Can anyone suggest me any method to do so?

    Hi Sandra,

Why do you want to save MSG files as PDF format? Instead, you can migrate those emails to your current email client? You can save them in that email application as a backup as well as access them anytime.

    Hi Eddie,

Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t want to migrate them. I just want to save them to my system in PDF file format. Please suggest a method to export MSG file to PDF format.

    OK, no problem.

You can simply save your Outlook emails in HTML file format. Open them with MS Word and then export it as PDF file format.

Yes, sure. You need to follow these steps:

    1. Open MS Outlook and select email message which you want to convert.
    2. Then, click on File tab >> Save As option.
    3. Select destination location to save that email.
    4. From Save as Type, click on Drag & Drop list to select HTML format.
    5. Now, your Outlook message will save with .html extension.
    6. Open that file with Microsoft Word and then, click on Office button >> Save as >> PDF.
    7. Now, you will get your Outlook message in PDF format.

With the help of this method, I am able to save Outlook messages one by one. It takes a lot of time. After converting the file, I am unable to get the same formatting of the email message. Please suggest any other effective method.

If you are looking for an effective method, then you should go for SysTools MSG Viewer Pro Tool to export Outlook messages to PDF file format. It takes very less time to complete the task. There will be no change in the formatting of the emails. It is the best option for bulk Outlook MSG to PDF conversion.
