    Hey Everyone.
    One of my colleagues is using Microsoft Outlook as his primary Email client and Gmail as the secondary one. But, now out of some circumstances, he wants to migrate all of his PST to Google Apps. Trying a manual method gives a timeout error due to a slow connection.
    Do anybody have any suggestions to call out the task?

    Hi there,
    You can ask your friend to search for the right steps of the manual method over the web – for the migration. The method is G Suite Migration for Microsoft Outlook (GSMMO/GAMMO). It is the migration tool to help manual migration of files from Outlook PST to Google Apps.

    Thanks for your suggestion friend. But, my colleague had already tried the steps mentioned under the GSMMO online guide. And, he failed to migrate his files. While he was trying to hold the migration process – the process terminated in between and he encountered some error codes and “time out”. Basically, that method was a fail for him.
    That is why he is expecting some other solutions.

    Hello Michael,
    I read your query and related conversation. This happened to me too. When I searched about my issues over the web, the results were some blurred conclusions mentioning that the email files could be containing large-sized attachments. But, I am not sure. I am also looking for some better answers.

    Hello all.
    Of course, the answer given by the web to Lincoln is correct. That error was possible because of the large size of his Email attachments. The GSMMO has this particular limitation that it delivers some error representing codes and calls a TIMEOUT when a user tries to migrate large messages. To help with this error the user needs to add some “HKEY” code keys to resolve that particular problem.

    Hey friends,
    Yes, I completely agree with Lincoln. The manual method convert PST email files to G Suite fails for migration when it comes to large sized files. And adding keys to resolve that error is a complicated task.
    But, for the expediency of the users – a company has developed a tool as a convenient alternative to GSMMO.     Thanks for your help chrisg. I have been trying a number of solutions for migration of my PST emails to G Suite and, nothing worked. The tool you mentioned did the job perfectly.
