    Hi All,

I am curious to know that is there any way in which we can convert our Gmail email to PDF?
I have seen on the internet but the answers are quite confusing.
I need to keep a backup of some emails as a separate folder for record keeping.
    Please suggest something.

    Hi Dexter,

You can print or forward a conversation. But not individual messages.

As you mentioned that, “I need to keep a backup of some emails as a separate folder for record keeping.”

Yes, I would suggest you to create labels and put messages there to save your emails in an organized way.

    Thanks

Thank you for the response. I understand that folders are different than labels. I use labels for separate issues. I learned (from the sites you mentioned) is that a label can be “hidden”.

I can see that Sent mail do not get labels unless I put them on.

I have a question, though, about how to ‘save as’ or ‘print to’ pdf multiple “conversations”. How do I give a copy of a set of conversations to someone else?

    Thanks,
    Dexter

Do you wish to transfer all the e-mails to another account or just a few messages?

    Thanks

Earlier when I was using Outlook, I used to create a folder for a specific project and moved all that project’s emails to that folder but now I am moving the emails to a particular project_name label in Gmail.
Once I am done with the project, I usually move all my project related data to a local drive just to show others on the statistics of the project and keep records of the data about the project.

When I was using Outlook, I used to save these data as a .pst file but that can only be read using Outlook software. So I was thinking if I could convert these data into a PDF file as it is preferable in my situation.

My question still remains the same.
How can I save my emails and conversations (of a particular project) in a PDF file format?
    Suggestions are most welcome.

    Thanks,
    Dexter
