    Hi,

    I need to create project report and to do this task, I have to view emails from a PST file but I don’t know how to open it. Now my question is how to view Outlook emails without MS Outlook and if possible to save them into PDF file format for my project report. If anybody knows about it then please tell me. Thanks in advance

    Tuff question. Actually, Outlook uses Outlook Data File format to store its information and the only way to access it in respect of Microsoft Outlook. Without it, this seems impossible.

    As far I know, Outlook must installed in your machine to view the data of PST file.

    I am not much familiar with MS Outlook that’s why I am looking for a way to open Outlook data file without MS Outlook. But after reading your answer I am confused if it is even possible. So I searched for MS Outlook in my PC. I found it but when I open it then it is asking me to create a profile. Will you please tell what is an Outlook profile and why do I need to create it?

    Simply create a Outlook profile and once you configured that one in Outlook, you will be able to view its data.

    To do so:

    File >> Account Settings >> Account Settings >> Data File

    As the Barry’s suggestion you need to install Microsoft Outlook to view your emails.If you want to see Emails of your PST File without installation of MS Outlook, then you need to switch on any third party tool.
