Hello Guys,

I also faced the same error “PST file is not a valid PST file” then I tried the above utility and got perfect solution. But I have one more doubt one of my friends faced an issue with his Outlook PST data file, that is he can’t open PST file in Outlook due to some oversized PST file issue. Can I suggest above utility to fix his error or is there any other direct utility to fix large sized PST file corruption?

Hi Barry Alllen,

Thanks for your help. It must needed the technical knowledge to perform the above steps without any error. The average outlook users like me are not aware of its whole working. I know one small error in the execution will lead to a failure. So can you suggest me another easy method?

Hi Sandra,
Since you have explained the reasons for this error, I think the reason for this error in Exchange Server is corruption in EDB files. Can anything be performed manually to resolve this error?

Hey Lincoln!

I am sorry to inform you that it is not much you can do manually to remove corruption from your BKF files as there are no methods that guarantee to get back data from damaged BKF files. Alternatively, you can try and make use of a third party software known as BKF Repair Tool to restore BKF files in various versions of Windows, having any level of corruption. In this way, you can remove inconsistency error in BKF file easily.
