    Hi Sandra

I am not familiar with this method using Outlook add-in. Can you explain this method in detail as to get a clear picture of the procedure that you have mentioned?

    Hello James,

I think there is no direct method to export AOL emails to Gmail. So, you can do it’s by several steps that are, first convert it to any other file format and then try to convert that to Gmail.

    Thanks

I think this issue can come if you are importing a bulk of MBOX files or these files can be corrupted.
It is better if you go for an automated solution i.e. SysTools MBOX Viewer tool. The application can help a user in opening MBOX file and view all the data items within the file. You can simply open .mbox file type extension in bulk in a very less time.

It is required to download and install Mozilla Thunderbird and ImportExportTools add-in. After installing and configuring successfully, follow these steps:

    1. Click on Tools >> ImportExportTools >> Import MBOX File.
    2. In Files MBOX Import, click on Import directly one or more MBOX files.
    3. Click on Import subdirectories to import MBOX files with its subdirectories.
    4. Hit on Open in order to import MBOX file to Thunderbird.
    5. It will open mailbox file and you can view all the emails.

    Hi Sandra,

First of all, let me tell you about MBOX files. It is a mailbox file which stores emails in a concatenated manner as your friend said. It is supported by many email applications like Thunderbird, Mac Mail, Eudora, Entourage, etc. You can use any of these applications to open MBOX file. I would prefer you to use Thunderbird.

The method is fine but it is very time-consuming for a bulk of MSG emails. I am also scared regarding data loss. I don’t want a single bit of data loss. Please suggest any safe method that can surely convert MSG emails to PDF format in a very less time.

    Hi,

Once I faced this same situation to migrate my Hotmail emails to Outlook, that time I used one manual method using Outlook connector. I would like to share that with you. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Download the Connector and open “Control Panel–>Mail Section–>Create new Account using connector.

Step 2: Click “Add” and provide details and after the configuration a data file will be created for Outlook.com.

Step 3: Set up the account to use Outlook Connector. For that Open Outlook and follow the clicks “File–> Account Settings–> New Account–> Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types–> Next. Then select “Outlook Connector” and complete the process.

    Thanks

    Hello Edwin,

I tried the manual method you suggested from the above mentioned link, But I can’t proceed that completely due to some technical error. Also, I read about one third-party solution from that same article. If you can, please give some more idea about that tool.

    Thanks

In that case, I can only suggest you that you must go for any apt third-party commercial utility which can easily save Microsoft Outlook Emails to PDF document without consuming much time and that too in an hassle-free manner and without any extra efforts.

I have tried this method also. But this approach is not working on a bulk number of MBOX files. Can you please suggest any simple and effective approach as it is really important to access all that data in those MBOX files.
